Hard to find an N/N double granddaughter of Impressive! This super-stout little girl ALWAYS produces just what she's bred to, plus she cranks up the color; her last colt was by Classified Material and it was a tall, handsome blanketed palomino that was sold to Mexico! Super easy keeper, easy breeder, easy foaling, great mama. Imagine what she's carrying now...(and I'd almost bet it's a filly!). Breeding sound only.

"Hi,  I wanted to let you know she got here ok. She is just as nice as I thought she would be. She unloaded and was very quiet like she has been here all her life.  I REALLY LIKE HER."....  Thanks,  INGRID

This is a really soft, sweet moving filly that keeps getting better -- a great lungeline and pleasure prospect!! She's smooooth. Pedigree full of bronze and silver medallion winners, top and bottom, halter and pleasure. Very level, balanced, correct, and pretty, too. Now a yearling, she's so pretty and stout; this one gets better every day. So smart and loves working with people - mature about 15 hands. Show her...then what a powerful broodmare she'll be!

May 20, 2007, non-characteristic palomino filly. Gorgeous rich gold in spring; white mane and tail.
Tall and elegant, just like her late sire, Classified Material.
Sweet people-lover.

Congratulations, Bill J.

Miss Star Heels - ApHC 1991
Nationally-pointed show mare under saddle, this big 1991 girl has had two colored fillies in a row for us, each by a different stallion. Margaret is about 15.3 hds. and has a lovely head, long neck, very nice bone, big body. Solid-colored, but DNA'ed and CPO'ed. Excellent breeder, foaler, and heavy, very maternal milker. We did not cover her this spring; she's open for 2009 and sells guaranteed breeding sound. Not too many of these nice big Star J mares left!

This is a good looking fellow that keeps getting better -- and Will just keeps on growing! It's hard to believe that I've had Secret for five years now.  He's pushing 16 hands and is a beautiful deep golden Palomino.  His favorite activity of the day is the bedtime tuck-in carrot he receives each night about 9 p.m. when I kiss him good night.

In the summer of 2006, we reached a goal I set when I purchased him from you all as a yearling in 2002 -- competing in Junior Trail at the Palomino World Championships.  I rode him to a fifth place finish, beating the horse that was leading the nation in junior trail at the time under all four judges.

We also competed in four other classes at the 2006 World Show - Novice Showmanship, Novice Western Horsemanship, Novice Trail and Novice Hunter Under Saddle.  We ended the week with two top fives and three top tens.  Secret and I both get a kick out of it when people come up to me and try to guess how he's bred -- it's fun to share his secret:  "He's a solid color Appaloosa."  I can then take the opportunity to point out his App characteristics:  white sclera, mottled skin, and striped hooves.

His first PHBA World Show was in 2005, we placed in Amateur 2001 Halter Geldings, Novice Trail and Novice Hunter Under Saddle.

We also continue to participate in our regional Gulf Coast Appaloosa shows.  Last year, he was the regional high point horse for Aged Geldings, Non Pro Geldings, 35 and Over Showmanship and 35 and Over Western Pleasure.

In 2006, we also enjoyed participating in a fund raising trail ride for our area's largest therapeutic horseback riding program:  SIRE.  Secret is as dependable out on the trail as he is in the show ring.  He's truly a joy to have in the barn.

"....I'm going to show him this summer, then he's going to college with me!  LoL.  He's such a wonderful horse, I love him to death!  So does everyone else at the barn.  I've had a few offers on him, but he's too good of a horse to sell (in my opinion)".

"Jed" is doing great.  He is our baby and he knows it.  He's a pleasure to be around and he rides like a dream.  He's got a wonderful lope and canter.  The kids love riding him because he has a trot that's sooo smooth.  He works with leg pressure and voice commands.  He knows his cues that I taught him and along with giving up kisses and a little bow here and there.

Hello Bill & Mauri,  "Boy time flies, I contacted you about 21 years ago about a gelding my parents got me for Christmas. I named him Cherokee Blaze and he's out of Apache Swamp Angel and Plaudit's Son O'Gun .... I still have Cherokee and he is now 24 years old. He's in good health and his main job is baby sitting my two mules. He doesn't get ridden much unless my 7 year old daughter rides him. He's been the most wonderful horse I could ever have asked for and we've been through a lot together.... Just thought you may be interested to know one of the "old guys" is still out there kicking. Just thought I'd say hello."
~Lori Clifton Reese~

Thanks Lori!
This is the kind of stuff we just love to hear from folks that
have purchased Rock Bottom-bred  horses --  be it recently or 20 + years ago!

Plaudit's Son O'Gun, was one of our first ApHC stallions. He was by Prince Plaudit and out of School Dress, a branded Wiescamp AQHA mare.
He  was a full brother to Prince's Shiek, 2X World Champion Reining Horse (Jr. and Sr.) owned, trained, and exhibited by Joel Cohen of New York.
